Supporting Youth

Positive role models can make a huge difference to our New Zealand youth.

With an increasing demand for Youth workers in Aotearoa, Yoobee delivers education to the employees of youth service organisations. The part-time learning delivers a Youth Work qualification specific to the youth work industry, along with building mana and confidence.

About Yoobee's Short Course

The qualification awarded after completing Yoobee's short course is the New Zealand Certificate in Youth Work Level 4.

  • Mentor and support young people to recognise and develop their potential whilst maintaining a safe environment when working with young people/rangatahi

Combining theory and workplace practice
The delivery approach is to embed learning in workplace practice. We offer tailored partnerships for youth work organisations to develop staff, so they feel confident and equipped for the situations they will face.
Personalised coaching for success
Your staff will have their own personal mentor and coach throughout the course that meets with them every six weeks for a one-on-one meeting to discuss their goals and monitor their progress through the programme.
Earn while you learn
Your staff are employed but also developing their own skills at the same time, in an industry that is vital to the youth of this country.
