Yoobee secures spot in global creative schools rankings

Yoobee College of Creative Innovation (YCCI), as part of UP Education, has secured a top spot in The Rookies Global Creative Schools Rankings.

In recognition of its advanced expertise in the creative economy, YCCI has been ranked a top 13 institute in the prestigious category of Production Excellence in 2D Animation.

Awarded by The Rookies, a next-gen collective of creatives, YCCI has been endorsed by the industry for its expertise in two-dimensional animation, short film, and the cultivation of collaborative learning spaces.

The rankings are the ultimate benchmark for excellence in creative production, featuring leading tertiary providers from over 100 countries, such as the United States, France and Germany. As the only Australasian nominee in this category, YCCI stands tall as a global leader in creative industries education.

More than 5,000 students presented their finest creations this year, with 180 judges making their top picks based on specific criteria, such as technical proficiency and diversity of skills.

“YCCI’s high ranking celebrates the institution’s standard of excellence in animation and is a testament to the incredible talent of YCCI students,’ says Greg Chapman, Animation Faculty Lead at YCCI.

“Our students consistently show they can contribute meaningful ideas to the development of the creative industries on a world scale.”
