UP Education strengthens healthcare commitment with two new acquisitions

UP Education has recently acquired two leading providers in Australian Higher Education and Vocational Training: Endeavour and Connect ‘n’ Grow.

This demonstrates the group’s dedication to making a positive impact on healthcare education and addressing critical workforce shortages across the sector.

Citing concerning statistics from Health Workforce Australia, which forecasts a shortage of over 100,000 nurses by 2025[1], UP Education is poised to contribute to meeting these challenges.

Mark Rushworth, UP Education Group CEO, expressed confidence in the organisation’s ability to rise to the occasion:

“We are well-positioned to enhance the already high-performing education offerings of Endeavour and Connect ‘n’ Grow. By leveraging our expertise in tertiary education across key industries, we can adapt our programmes and operations at pace to swiftly address urgent skills shortages across the health sector.”

“Since the pandemic, we have been actively developing practical solutions to strengthen healthcare education and training. This year, we have witnessed the fruition of our hard work, with Endeavour and Connect ‘n’ Grow being among the four healthcare providers cherry-picked from the Australian market that align with the needs of the modern-day learner.”
