The UP 100: Meet Abhisek, PwC New York City

Abhisek Mohanty has been featured in The UP 100 – a compelling showcase of 100 remarkable students and graduates, as part of UP Education, achieving education and employment success across Australasia and beyond.

Abhisek completed the University of Auckland Certificate in Foundation Studies with UP Education in 2011. In addition to gaining entry to his Bachelor of Commerce and postgraduate degree with the University of Auckland, the foundation programme helped him adapt to New Zealand culture and connect with a vast network of international students.

Upon graduation, Abhisek was recruited to work for award-winning start-up, Plexure, before exploring various business and data roles at Digitas Affinity ID and Hewlett-Packard (HP). He would later catapult his career as part of the PwC Management Consulting team in New Zealand and Australia.

Currently, he is based in the PwC office in New York City in the USA to support his global retail, consumer goods and private equity clients. Having placed himself among several prestigious multi-national firms over the last decade, Abhisek is living proof of how far you can go with the UP Education Foundation Studies programme.
