NZMA student ambassadors absorb cultural exchange

24 November 2017 — Now in Switzerland, NZMA Student Ambassadors YoungChan Chai (South Korea), Jiyoung An (South Korea) and Marion Josef Apin (Philippines) have all been absorbed in enriching activities as part of their insight into the Bachelor of  Culinary Arts at the institute.

NZMA has a partnership with the International Institute of Switzerland, and students can earn credits towards their Bachelor degree.  NZMA students are trained to thrive in this environment, and are ready to take on the world.  The IMI experience gives students the confidence they need, to do just that.

A highlight was visiting the LUZ café in the Lucerne town in front of the Bahnhof Station.  The Pumpkin Orange Soup is pictured below, and no doubt tastes amazing!  The team will be sad to leave Lucerne, but have plenty to share with NZMA fellow students when they return next week.

Alongside the cultural experience, Jiyoung An has been documenting the creations in the kitchen and has sent us these stunning pictures to share.
