ACG Pathways to deliver computer-based IELTS

The Campbell Institute, which is part of ACG Pathways, will now deliver the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) at our Auckland CBD site, thanks to a new partnership with IELTS co-owner, IDP Education.

The new test centre will cater to the many international students and workers Auckland attracts who need to sit a recognised English test for migration, study or professional reasons.

For test takers and ACG students, the new centre will bring convenience and more options.

“Our students have previously had to go off-site to sit their IELTS with other providers,” explained Mark Haines, Executive Principal, University Pathways.

“We will now be able to offer it to them here as an additional service to their English-language training or Foundation Course.”

The Campbell Institute will be an IELTS-dedicated centre in central Auckland that will enable test takers to complete their reading, writing and listening tests on computer. The speaking test will be face-to-face with an IELTS examiner as this prompts a more realistic reflection of how we communicate in English.

The test centre will open on 2 April and test takers will be able to book tests online from March at ielts.co.nz/campbell.
