心怀“救治社会”的理想,又一位ACG预科学生成功拿到本科学位

Jaffit Wong在去年于奥克兰理工大学毕业并获得犯罪学学士学位。她曾在ACG就读奥克兰理工大学预科课程。

 

“尽你所能,利用好每一个能够让你学习独立思考的机会,为你的大学学习做好准备。”

这段颇有哲思的话出自Tsz Yin Wong (Jaffit),一位在2014年就读ACG奥克兰理工大学预科的学生。

Jaffit 来自香港,曾经一直梦想着能够进入到新西兰顶尖大学读书。她的家人对ACG一直有所耳闻并向她做了推荐。Jaffit于2014年入学ACG预科,这段学习经历让她对未来的大学学习有了更明确的目标。

“起初,我打算学习职业理疗,在学习了多个不同的学科之后,我意识到我对人文社会更有兴趣,比如犯罪学和心理学。”

Jaffit对心理学中的犯罪心理尤为感兴趣,她希望更多地了解那些引发种种社会问题的原因。如今,手执犯罪学学士学位的Jaffit希望把她的知识融入到实践中以帮助他人。

“能够在使用第二语言的情况下完成本科学习,让我感到很自豪。接下来,我希望继续留在新西兰,在所学领域找到工作。我希望能够去到一家真正为弱势群体服务的机构工作。”
